We made it a on a boat today. Turns out only the captain to Como follows the mask rule to such a t, but we had what we needed anyway. The ride from Nesso up to Menaggio was stunning from the Water, the ride was about an hour and a half, because there is nothing direct from our port. The ride made it part of the adventure. In Mennagio, we had some lunch and walked around before jumping over to Varenna. Our crew whined the whole way asking what we were “doing today”. Varenna was adorable and I would have loved some kid free time and an unlimited credit card to do some shopping, but instead we found a playground by the water and enjoyed the view. We also had to use bribe gelato to get them to any part that involved stairs. Bellagio didn’t happen today as we had reached our limit. The weather is so hot, very unseasonably hot, which makes the children’s pleas for water near constant.
