6/28 internet has been down so I apologize for my delay in posting.
Our first trip to a market was a solid 2/10. Lest anyone think things are all olive groves and wine bottles, the trip today to Gourde was stunningly beautiful and filled with whining. We knew they had a huge market that got super busy so in our attempt to find ingredients for Provençal chicken, we woke everyone up early and headed into town. The whining started when one didn’t want to walk in the direction we first headed. And we forgot the stroller back at the house. The other children picked up when One stopped. Will and I couldn’t figure out what was happening and were a bit flustered because the market was more of a flea market then farmers market.
We ended up back home in a the pool and just Will and I headed to Goulet for a place that actually sold food and not lavender satchels and woven shoes. Despite no one actually speaking English and our French being awful, we got what we needed to make a delicious meal. The littles are perfecting swimming and diving to the bottom for coins (yes all of them).
The sunlight over the valley tonight was stunning. Uncle Peter stopped everything to go outside the front of the house for pictures and a moment to enjoy the view.
